From manual returns chaos to automated reverse logistics.
Woolrich, one of the world's most iconic premium outdoor fashion brands, transformed its fragmented returns process across 3 sales channels — DTC, eCommerce and Wholesale — by integrating ShippyPro and REMIRA into a fully automated, traceable reverse logistics flow.

From fragmented, manual returns to a scalable automated reverse logistics flow
Founded in Pennsylvania in 1830, Woolrich is today an international icon of premium outdoor fashion. For nearly 10 years, the brand has undergone a deep technological transformation toward a full cloud architecture — adopting API First, SaaS, Composable and Data Governance principles to ensure operational flexibility and scalability across three channels: direct stores, eCommerce and wholesale.
In this context, returns management was one of the most critical challenges: manual processes, fragmentation between systems and a lack of visibility were slowing down the return-to-restock cycle and negatively impacting margins and customer experience. The integration between ShippyPro and REMIRA made it possible to build a structured, automated reverse logistics flow perfectly connected to the group's IT infrastructure.
The ideal process implemented covers 7 phases: request opening, evaluation/acceptance, documentation preparation and carrier selection via ShippyPro, product matching, reconditioning, ERP/WMS communication and flow closure. The result is a modern, measurable reverse logistics operation oriented toward the customer experience.
This is how returns became a competitive advantage, not an unavoidable cost.

Adopting a cloud-first, API First and Composable architecture allowed us to integrate ShippyPro and REMIRA seamlessly — transforming returns management from a manual, fragmented process into an automated, traceable and scalable flow.
From manual copy-paste to one connected, automated returns platform
ShippyPro gave Woolrich the carrier logistics layer of its reverse flow — handling label generation, carrier selection by geography and customs documentation — while REMIRA managed the approval criteria and process logic across all three sales channels.

eCommerce returns follow near-automatic approval; direct stores go to auto-approval; wholesale requires documentary verification of commercial agreements — all configured flexibly via REMIRA, with ShippyPro pre-selecting the right carrier per geography.
From return request to warehouse restocking — every phase is now automated, traceable and connected to Woolrich's ERP and WMS systems, with a direct impact on efficiency and margins.
RFID scanning on the client side gives Woolrich advance visibility on incoming returns — enabling quality control teams to be sized for seasonal peaks, and getting products back on sale faster across all channels.
